Study the role through job descriptions and networking calls with professionals at the target company & role.

In job descriptions look for:

• What are their values?
• What skills are they looking for?
• What experiences do they value?
• What transferrable skills do you have?
• Do they specify a team or industry focus?

Write down these answers and integrate them into your interview answers

For the networking calls, ask questions like:

(1) What was your interview like?

(2) What’s your team’s culture like?

(3) What’s your biggest interview advice?

(4) What are your biggest challenges in the role?

(5) What’s one question I should ask during the interview?

(6) If you were me, what skills would you learn before starting?

Study the Interviewer through LinkedIn and Google:

You want to understand who they are, their interests, and how you can relate to them.

(1) What are their hobbies?
