Steps:
- Go to LinkedIn Jobs and find an active job description that you’re interested in (that was posted in the last 7 days)
- Go to LinkedIn search and input your “target job” AND “hiring” in the search bar
- For your target job copy the EXACT job title of the job description you found (this is important)
- Filter for “posts” (not people)
- Then filter for author company (the company that posted the job description)
- Filter for “latest” or “top match”
- The person who posted about the role is likely either the recruiter or hiring manager in charge of the role
- Analyze the job description and identify 2-3 experiences on why you’re a great fit
- Message them that you’re interested (and why you’re a great fit)
